It has been a super long time since I posted anything on here so I thought since I'm feeling sick on the couch it would be the perfect time.
Since moving to Florida my life has been whirlwind. The first few days were busy with paperwork, meeting new people, and getting ready to work. The nice thing about being so busy was that it was nearly impossible to be nervous about being on my own 1000 miles away and I had my amazing roommate, Victoria, and my friends, Natalie, Taryn and Hailey, to keep my mind of things as well. From dance parties at Downtown Disney to playing in the parks all day to late night heart to hearts, these girls have been there for me through it all and I'm truly blessed to have met them.
The first time I was actually nervous was my first day at my work location. I work Fastpass+ at Hollywood Studios and just like every first day I have ever had I was worried. Would I be good at my job? Would I ever like it? Would I make friends? All these questions were running through my head. Luckily, I absolutely love my job and the people I work with. I do not think I have ever met a group of people that were so welcoming and kind. They really made my transition easier and I look forward to going to work every single day.
I've had so many great experiences so far and I can not wait to see what the rest of my program brings me.
